For the safety of our students and staff, MISD has several new security and safety protocols in place for the 2022-2023 school year.  New protocols are:

• Starting August 18, 2022, every adult who comes into the school will need to present a valid ID card.  You must show the ID card every time you come to the building.
• You must have a pick-up tag from this school year in order to receive your child at the walk-up door or in the carline.  You may also be asked to show a valid ID. Stop by the office to get a new pick-up tag.
• Adults who are picking up a child must be listed as the parent or as an emergency contact in Skyward.  Parents may log in to Skyward to add additional emergency contacts. 
• All volunteers must have a background check before they can help in classrooms or attend field trips.  Have questions about being a volunteer?  Get the answers here!
