Agriculture Club Opportunities
Students in 1st through 4th grade can become part of fun agriculture clubs at Tarver-Rendon! Parents, please take a moment to explore the details of each club with your child. If they are excited to join, go ahead and sign them up! Kids can participate in as many clubs as they qualify for. Let's grow together!

Roadrunners Recycle (1st-4th graders)
Join us on Tuesday mornings from 7:30 to 7:45 for an exciting opportunity to make a difference in our community! During our meetings, you’ll collect paper from recycling bins and shred it into fine pieces. This shredded paper will play a crucial role in enriching the Discovery Park's compost. Participants will come to Mrs. Drake’s room at 7:30 on their designated day. Don’t forget to use the link to join! Let's recycle and help the environment together! The deadline to sign up is Sept. 9!
Composting Crew (1st-4th graders)
Are you passionate about making a difference? The Composting Crew is seeking enthusiastic members to assist during lunchtime! As a crew member, you'll oversee how your classmates dispose of their food scraps in the compost buckets—no touching anyone else's food, though! After lunch, you’ll help close the buckets and place them in their special spots. The number of days you'll serve will be based on the number of students who join this exciting initiative. Animal Care Club (3rd and 4th graders only)
Are you a 3rd or 4th grader who loves animals? If so, we invite you to be part of our Animal Care Club! Members will have the chance to care for our friendly animals and help keep their homes clean. Heads up! This means you will be shoveling poop, so make sure you’re ready for that! Parents, if your child is not up for this task, please consider waiting to sign them up. Animal Care Club meets every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday morning. Please drop off your child between 7:25 and 7:30 AM at Discovery Park on their assigned day. If you arrive after 7:30, please send your child to their classroom instead. For the safety of our students, no late drop-offs please! Ready to join the fun? Sign up by Sept. 11!
Jr. FFA (3rd and 4th graders only)
Exciting opportunities await students who become part of the Jr. FFA! You'll need to choose a project and pay a $20 membership fee. Your project can be anything from livestock you raise to creative entries for the youth fair. Students are encouraged to attend meetings from 7:30 to 7:45 in Mrs. Drake’s room. Dates will be announced soon.
