We have a variety of agriculture related clubs for your students to sign up for this year.  

Composting Crew:  1st through 4th graders can sign up to help us compost food for our garden beds.  Compost crew members will serve during their lunch period to ensure the correct foods are going into our compost buckets.  Sign up by August 24.


Animal Care Club:  3rd and 4th graders will meet Mrs. Drake in the Discovery Park at 7:25 in the morning to help feed and water the animals.  We will also clean the habitats. (INCLUDING SHOVELING POOP).  Students who do not want to shovel poop should NOT join the club.   Sign up by August 24


Jr. FFA: 3rd and 4th graders may join the Mansfield Jr. FFA program.  This club requires a $25 membership fee.  Through the Jr. FFA program, students may raise and show livestock at stock shows, or create projects to participate in the Youth Fair competition at the Tarrant County Jr. Livestock Show and Youth Fair.  Jr. FFA members will meet with Mrs. Drake one Thursday a month from 7:30-7:50am.  Dates will be determined soon.  Once you fill out the form to join, you will be charged the membership fee.  Make sure this is a club you truly want your child to be a part of BEFORE signing up.  You are responsible for paying the membership fee and all costs related to your child's project(s).  Sign up by September 4.
