Facts about the chicks:

• They were placed in the incubator on Monday, March 30.  Chicken eggs take around 21 days to hatch.  Just like all animals... that's an estimate.  Some come earlier, and some come later.
• Monday, April 20, is day 21.  This should be the busiest hatching day.
• One early bird hatched on Sunday around noon.  It's in the brooder, anxiously awaiting the others.  See all its cuteness in the picture below.
• We will keep the chicks for about a week before returning them to the person who gave us the eggs to hatch.
