Final Service project for the 2024-25 school year

As we approach the conclusion of this school year, we are excited to spotlight our last leadership trait: Perseverance. This important quality embodies the spirit of determination and resilience, and we are putting it into action to support our furry companions in need at local animal shelters and rescues.

To assist these adorable animals in their journey towards finding their forever homes, we are organizing a collection drive for essential items. From now until May 16, we invite everyone to join us in gathering food, linens, and various other supplies that can make a significant difference in their lives.

The items we collect will be thoughtfully distributed to two wonderful organizations. Linens, cleaning supplies, and dog-related products will be donated to Second Chance Dog Rescue, which is located in Rendon. Additionally, all cat-related donations will be sent to the Mansfield Animal Shelter.

Your contributions will not only help these animals persevere through their current challenges, but they will also bring us all together as a community dedicated to making a positive impact. Let’s show our furry friends that with perseverance and a little help from us, they can find the loving homes they deserve!

We are collecting:

dog and cat food

dog and cat treats

linens, towels, and blankets, etc. (new or gently used)

laundry detergent

cleaning supplies

paper towels

Second Chance Rescue created an online shopping wish list if you would like to support them in this manner.
