We are thrilled to announce that Mr. J. David Thayer will be stepping in as our interim principal for the remainder of the school year! After dedicating 27 years to the field of education, Mr. Thayer has come out of retirement to take on this important role. He previously spent ten years as the principal of Alice Ponder Elementary. During the 18 months Alice Ponder students were at the old Tarver-Rendon facility, he developed a connection with our community and school. He is very excited and humbled to step in and serve our campus during this transition.

Mr. Thayer is eager to dive deep into our school life, engaging with parents, getting to know our students, and particularly exploring our agriculture program. We invite everyone to stop by the office and warmly welcome him as he joins our campus community!
