The mission of Mansfield ISD Library Services is to provide welcoming spaces promoting literacy and self-directed learning exploration for all.

Mansfield ISD has policies in place to allow our parents to control the library materials available to their student.

All parents in Mansfield ISD have the ability to receive circulation emails when their student visits the library. To request circulation emails, please complete Parent Request for E-mail Notification form.

Library Information

  • Students in kindergarten and 1st grade may have one book checked out at a time. Students in 2nd-4th grades may check out two books at a time.  All books may be checked out for one week and may be renewed on an as-needed basis.
  • Students may also utilize our Open Check Out program which allows them the flexibility to visit the library individually on a more frequent basis. 
  • Students may search for books in the Tarver-Rendon library at school or from home by accessing Destiny System.
  • There is no checkout available for students with overdue books.  Overdue notices will be sent home at the end of each six weeks and at other times as needed.
